About the Show
The Ranting & Raving Podcast is where unfiltered opinions, real-life stories, and proper Midlands banter collide. Hosted by Wayne Scott-Fox and Micky Williams, the podcast brings raw, no-nonsense conversations with guests from all walks of life, with a strong focus on showcasing voices from the Midlands, particularly Birmingham and the Black Country.
From music and culture to current events, wild experiences, and controversial takes, nothing’s off limits. Wayne and Micky bounce off each other with sharp humour, honest opinions, and the kind of chemistry that turns every episode into organised chaos.
No scripts, no filters, just real talk, big laughs, and moments that can go from deep to completely unhinged in seconds. Whether it’s savage dilemmas, listener stories, or heated debates, Ranting & Raving keeps it unpredictable and always entertaining.
Wayne Scott-Fox
Wayne Scott-Fox is a former British Army Soldier turned DJ and creative businessman, firmly rooted in the music and media world. With a background shaped by discipline and structure, he brings a sharp, focused edge to everything he does, whether that’s behind the decks or in business conversations.
His interests span football, music, business, crypto/investing, and artificial intelligence, giving him a modern, forward-thinking outlook that blends culture with technology. As a DJ, he’s known for his bass driven vocal sets that span from tech house to bassline, while off stage he’s constantly exploring new ideas, investments, and innovations.
Wayne is widely known due to his outrageous controversial van videos that each accumulated millions of views and building an audience of over 150,000 followers. Now, he brings balance to Ranting & Raving, mixing grounded perspective with big-picture thinking, sharp humour, and straight-talking honesty.
Oh & he's adamant he is not a Yam Yam yet he's from Walsall.
Micky Williams
Micky Williams, hailing from Walsall, is one half of speed garage and bassline duo Bass Dominators, known for their warpy basslines and energetic sound. He’s also the owner of Criminal Records, a bassline label dedicated to pushing the genre forward and spotlighting emerging talent.
Away from the decks and studio, Micky is one of the voices behind The Ranting and Raving Podcast, bringing unfiltered opinions, humour, and real-life takes to the mic. Whether it’s music, current events, or everyday madness, he’s never short of something to say.
Outside of it all, Micky enjoys the simple things, football, boxing, UFC, fishing… and a solid bit of trifle.
